As one of the founders of Danville Branch #352, The Monsignor NEVER missed a branch
meeting and attended the ICF Convention wherever it was held for many years.
As ICF State Spiritual Director he
was the driving force in all things Italian AND Catholic in The Italian Catholic Federation

Monsignor Cardelli loved to eat and loved to cook! He was famous for making his mother's
"Sunday Sugo". He made 40 gallons of
his mom's sauce at least 4 times a year. He gathered a group of fun guys to cook with!
Here: Russ Belleci, Mike "The Greek" Karadonis, Coach Garry St. Jean and Chef Cardelli!

He was very dedicated to the Italian Catholic Federation. He seemed to have a realization that what the ICF was doing was
all being done for the greater praise and glory of God, and he knew that it was good work that supported and defended
the Catholic faith and Italian American Heritage.
